  • I am a junior in high school in Los Angeles, CA. My passion is acting. I have done a lot of plays, musicals, and voiceovers. I plan to study acting in college. This project has meant so much to me. I have always believed that each person has a responsibility to take care of our planet. I always recycle, turn off lights and try to take shorter showers. Everything each of us can do, big or small, will make a difference and give us a better future. It was really great to use my interest in acting to help inspire kids to be more active participants in our planet’s future. Every person counts!!

  • I’m a middle school student currently living in Des Moines, Iowa. In my free time, I play baseball, football, track, cross country, and basketball. I am an actor and model and spend as much time as I can preparing for my next role. Back to Our Nature has been especially special to participate in because climate change is an issue that affects everyone and it’s important to have these conversations.

  • I did some musical theater in art school and I enjoy singing and doing improv comedy. Check out the BeingAuthenticToday.org site where you can listen to some of the songs I’ve sung. I’ve learned a lot in this show, which I’m ready to put into practice in future episodes!

  • I am a Pilates teacher in Los Angeles and Anabelle Poynter’s mom in real life. While I have always been conscious of trying to do my part in conserving our planet’s resources, it’s really the kids who can make the changes over their entire lifetimes that will ensure our future. And all that effort can be fun!

  • I am an actor based out of Des Moines, Iowa. I also work as a speech and drama coach assisting students in building their confidence to succeed, wherever life takes them. I feel very privileged to be part of such a wonderful and important project. I am in the process of raising two incredible kids and it is my desire that they understand the importance of everyone doing their part in making this planet a better place than they found it. The examples we set can make a huge difference to others.

Our Singers in Episode 1:

  • Nia Skyfer is a Cuban-born singer/ songwriter and actress based in Miami, Florida. From a very young age, she took an interest in music and acting. Vocally she trained in opera, jazz, and r&b. She was part of her High School’s Drama Club and did some acting and music performance training in College. She is best known for her participation on The Voice Season 22.

  • Hope Goudy is a multifaceted creative with a talent for providing top-notch creative assistance, website development, design, music, and media consulting services.

  • Julia is a vivacious 12-year-old from Coralville, Iowa. She started taking voice lessons at the age of 6 and loves to perform in a variety of genres. Julia’s theatrical credits include Seussical and Violet Beauregarde in Willy Wonka Jr. She has placed well in the Bellagrande International Music Competition, American Protege Vocal Competition, and Hal Leonard Vocal Competition. Julia loves animals and wants to be involved in big cat conservation when she is older.

  • At the time of filming, I was a sixth grader in Iowa City. I hope to be in the medical field in the future, a singer or an actor. I love animals so much and I played with the tiny kittens on one of the sets during filming. We often think of endangered species individually; however, we must protect all of nature in order to ensure animals of all kinds can continue to exist.
